Un-packing 100 color ways
2/10/23 — I released my biggest collection of 100 different video color ways with Pj Ladd and it sold out the same day. THANK YOU everyone for the support!! Here’s some background on the collection attributes and how this project came about.
PJLadd
2002 Boston, Massachusetts — The debut of Coliseum Skateshop’s video PJ Ladd’s Wonderful Horrible Life. This video caught the whole skate industry’s attention and possibly the most watched VHS in all of skateboarding. One of the best to do it!
SKYLINES
is a visual collection all shot from a birds-eye view; each video is edited to loop forever. The first video in the collection is Pj Ladd skating two benches in a row in East Los Angeles. I wanted to show a whole different perspective from his double bench lines in “Silence is golden”. This line was minted as a 1/1 (only 1 person could collect this video). With everything he’s done in skateboarding, I felt like this line should be shared with everyone.
I woke up in the middle of the night with the idea of changing the color patterns. For three days I created & exported over 150 different color ways of this line. I narrowed it down to 100 of the most eye catching patterns and created a collection with a randomized mint (when collected you receive 1 random video out of 100 different color way patterns). A lucky collector that receives the all green 🟢 line will be transferred the original filmed line.

COLLECTION ATTRIBUTES:
Two Tone Colors — 40 videos total
This series is the most common. They have 2 different patterns with 10 different color ways. These 2 patterns are 20% each.
BW + Color ways — 44 videos total
This series has 8 solid BW + colors with 4 different patterns. Also includes Bw + rainbow with a total of 4 videos. 7 CIRCLES + LINE ANIMATED — 11%
Solid Colors — 16 videos total
This series has some of the most rare patterns of the collection.
COLLECTION RARES
How to get started?
First, you’ll need a digital wallet https://metamask.io/ When you get your wallet setup, don’t store your password & seed phrase on your phone. Treat it like a passport and keep this info in a safe place.
Next, you’re going to need some Ethereum (ETH) which is a digital currency. Coinbase is a good place to purchase ETH with your local currency and sending it to your digital wallet address.
Head over to the Skylines collection page. Connect your digital wallet to the exchange and you can start collecting. Please shoot me a message if you need any help getting started.
